CARE in Vietnam is looking for an experienced and qualified Vietnamese individual to fill the position of Project Officer for the project named Joint Advocacy Network Initiative, aiming to strengthen community-based disaster risk management advocacy and implementation through effective networking and joint initiatives.
Oxfam GB is implementing a Disaster Risk Reduction Project in Dong Thap and Tien Gian Provinces in Vietnam funded by AusAID under the Vietnam- Australia NGO Cooperation Agreement (VANGOCA). The project started in April 2006 and will end in October 2010. Oxfam GB is looking an International Consultant/ Team Leader to carryout a final evaluation of the project. Duration of consultancy service: Approximately 20 days starting from 21 July, 2010
Major Responsibilities: - Lead the evaluation team - Review all available relevant documents of project development and implementation that are provided by Oxfam and partners; read Oxfam’s MEL framework etc

SNV (Netherlands Development Organisation) in Vietnam is engaged in development cooperation. SNV supports local organisations (state and non-state), mostly at the meso level, through a combination of advisory, knowledge brokering and advocacy services. SNV works in the WASH sector within the context of the National Rural Water Supply and Sanitation (RWSS) Strategy – 2020 and the National Targeted Program (NTP II) on RWSS, 2006-2010, of the Government of Vietnam.
CECI Vietnam is the In-Country Manager of the Australian Government’s AYAD and VIDA volunteer programs. Currently the In Country Management (ICM) team manages the assignments of more than 30 Australian volunteers in Vietnam. Most volunteer assignments last from 6 months to 24 months, and volunteers are located in major cities such as Hanoi, but also in provincial centres and the Mekong Delta. The ICM team is responsible for supporting the volunteers during their initial arrival period, with advice on assignments, and how to establish their lives here in Vietnam.

SNV (Netherlands Development Organisation) in Vietnam is engaged in development cooperation. SNV contributes to poverty reduction through increased income and employment creation for a large group of household, micro and small scale enterprises. Currently, SNV is supporting the development of the cardamom value chain in the Lai Chau and Lao Cai provinces. SNV would like to invite Vietnamese consulting organizations or Local Capacity Builders to submit a proposal for undertaking the following assignment: “Support to the development and promotion of a quality assurance protocol for the cardamom sector in the Lao Cai and Lai Chau provinces” The work includes a total of 24 consultancy days of which part will be implemented in the Lao Cai and Lai Chau provinces.
