Position Mandate

Resonance is seeking candidates to serve as Mid-level Agriculture and Innovation Coordinator for Investing in Women to Strengthen Supply Chains: A Global Development Alliance (GDA) between PepsiCo and USAID. The GDA will run until 2025 and will focus on strengthening the business case for inclusive agriculture in four target countries: Colombia, India, Pakistan, and Vietnam.  The GDA will support interventions that empower and create opportunities for women on and off-farm within PepsiCo agricultural supply chains. It will leverage PepsiCo’s demonstration farms, which are sites where PepsiCo agronomists showcase and train farmers on good agricultural practices and technology to improve production.

By featuring interventions that consider the unique needs, priorities, skills, and knowledge of women farmers, laborers, and entrepreneurs, PepsiCo will be able to strengthen women’s agricultural capacity, demonstrate the importance of women’s roles within their potato supply chains, and leverage women’s contributions to achieve core business and sustainability goals.  Additionally, the partnership co-invests with women farmer groups, women-led businesses, and other supply chain actors whose approaches overcome barriers to women’s economic empowerment, such as: addressing unpaid care work burdens, reducing women’s time poverty, increasing access to technical skills and technologies, improving access to land and natural resources and challenging harmful gender norms.

This position will be based in Dak Lak, Vietnam and will report to the Country Manager - Vietnam. The Agriculture & Innovation Coordinator will support the GDA team’s implementation of country-level activities focused on gender transformation of demonstration farms and women’s economic empowerment solutions in agriculture.  The position will support the GDA Country Manager to ensure the success of the program’s technical approach, methodologies, and activities with specific responsibility for operational and logistics support.

  • Support and coordinate consultants and partners in mapping challenges and opportunities to improve the resilience of PepsiCo’s potato supply chains.
  • Support efforts to integrate gender into climate-resilient and regenerative agriculture practices on demo farms and support the creation of new demo farms, as relevant.
