Service Provider for Nursery Construction and Establishment

Unique is a leading consulting firm for sustainable natural resource management, with a focus on forestry, agriculture and climate change. Unique has been active in Vietnam since 2008 and has a representative office in Hue.

The project “Ecosystem-Based Adaptation in the North-Central Coast of Vietnam: Restoration and Co-Management of Degraded Dunes and Mangroves”  is financed by the International Climate Initiative of theFederal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMU-IKI). The project is jointly implemented by unique land use GmbH (Germany) and the Institute of Resources and Environment (IREN) of Hue University.

Launched in 2018, the project has recently received an extension until late 2024. As part of the extension, the project is supporting a local nursery in Quang Tri in the set-up and operations of an improved practice nursery, producing high-quality native seedlings for coastal forest restoration.
