We are looking for committed, result-driven candidate for the position of Senior Communications Project Officer, based in Hue, Viet Nam

Major Functions:

The position will work under direct supervision of Field Coordinator Officer and technical supervision of the Plastic Communication and Campaign Manager to deliver the project objectives and disseminate about project results and promote the project site of Hue city to be a Plastic Smart City. He/she will be responsible for the program’s communications planning, management, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of project activities to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of the WWF’s contractual obligations and ensure close collaboration between the project partners and other relevant stakeholders in the project sites. Specifically, he/she will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of communications and outreach strategies of the project. Reporting on communications activities to all donors in accordance with the WWF’s policy. He/she is also expected to liaise with the Communication Department of WWF-Viet Nam and Regional to make sure all communication products are in line with WWF and the donor’s communication policies and regulations, and that the latest communication tools and channels are deployed to maximize the impacts of activities.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree, preferably in Communications, TV/Journalism and/or Marketing or related fields
  • Experiences in project communication, campaign and event organizing, preferable in environmental area.
  • Knowledge in waste reduction/management is advantage.
