RFP: IT firm to enhance and upgrade the Vietnam antimicrobial use (AMU) electronic information system for animal health - AMU software

Background

In relation to Fleming Fund Vietnam Country Grant funded through the British United Kingdom, FHI 360 has been providing technical support to Vietnam Department of Animal Health (DAH) in the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) to enhance the antimicrobial use (AMU) surveillance system. In the previous period, the software system has been developed for AMU electronic information management, the system of standardizing the lists of domestically produced and imported veterinary drug products licensed, and the lists of establishments eligible to produce, import veterinary drugs (pharmaceuticals, vaccines, raw materials, and chemicals used in veterinary medicines). This software brings convenience for enterprises to update and manage their list of veterinary drugs licensed for circulation in Vietnam; the management agencies (DAH) also can easily manage and trace the veterinary drugs information for circulation in Vietnam.

Now we are seeking to recruit an information technology (IT) firm with experiences in working on database of agricultural materials under MARD’s agencies management to continue enhancing system operational modules of the AMR/AMU Portal of that software by setting up and developing functional toolkits, including extracting accurate reports according to World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) reporting format. The IT firm need to review, inherit, and upgrade the AMU software system to meet new requirements.
