Vacancy: The North Regional Project Officer, Alive & Thrive Project
Based in Hanoi

They are looking for a Vietnamese national for the position of Project Officer for Alive and Thrive (A&T) Project. This project aims to improve Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF) with a focus on reducing malnutrition prevalence in children under 2 years of age. A&T in Vietnam will be implemented through a consortium of partners and is part of a larger global program. The successful candidate will be based in Hanoi with travels to project sites.

Main Responsibilities
The Project Officer is responsible for ensuring the completeness and correctness of the training manual package and developing training manuals under the guidance of Regional Managers and in coordinating with the consultancy teams. The Project Officer is expected to contribute to the overall program planning, monitoring/reviewing, evaluation and reporting as well as to support other component projects to ensure the program interrelated coherence and synergies.

Key Competencies 
- Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline, e.g., social sciences, foreign languages, economics
- At least two years working experience in relevant field, preferably in nutrition, maternal and child health care program 
- Good writing and documenting skills, especially in documenting project progress reports and other correspondences
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Good communication skills, and team work
- Good computer skills, MS Office
- Skillful in facilitating meeting, workshop
- Having experience and skillful in planning, monitoring program and budget.
