Project Accountant in Quang Ngai

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) invites applications for the position of Project Accountant for Local Project Management Board in Quang Ngai.

The Project “Improving the resilience of vulnerable coastal communities to climate change related impacts in Viet Nam” funded by the Green Climate Fund through UNDP is carried out from 2017 to 2021 in 7 provinces: Nam Dinh, Thanh Hoa, Quang Binh, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, and Ca Mau. The advertised position is for the local project office in Quang Ngai.

Under the supervision of the Director of Quang Ngai Project Management Board, the Project Accountant will be responsible for all local component accounting tasks, participate in planning, revenue and expenditure budgeting work, establish a suitable accounting system, create reports and perform other duties as assigned by the Director.

Candidates should have University Degree or higher in accounting, finance, or related fields, and at least three years of progressive experience in accounting/finance for foreign capital projects. Accounting experience working with international organizations will be an advantage.

The successful candidate will be offered one-year contract after completing a two-month probation period. The contract will be extended based on satisfactory performance in the first year.
