Marketing & Capacity Strengthening Consultant

I. Background

PATH has been awarded funding from USAID to implement the Healthy Markets project. The overall goal of this project is to grow a viable commercial market for HIV-related goods and services that are capable of meeting the needs of populations facing the greatest risks of HIV. In order to achieve this overall goal, PATH and its partners focus on the following three objectives:

  1. Increase private sector and local investment in the market for condoms and other HIV-related goods and services
  2. Increase demand for condoms and other HIV-related goods and services among key populations facing the greatest risks
  3. Increase private sector supply of condoms and other HIV-related goods and services among key populations facing the greatest risks

PATH is seeking a consultant to support the project’s marketing and capacity-strengthening activities.

II.                  Scope of work

  • Create and manage online and off-line marketing content for various platforms, including websites and Facebook, and manage engagement/responses from the community.
  • Support the delivery of marketing TA to Healthy Markets’ partner clinics and social enterprises.
  • Support to prepare and organize trainings, mentoring, and coaching activities with partners.
  • Assist the preparation, organization, and implementation of events and workshops.
  • Support with reporting and preparing presentations to showcase activities and achievements.
  • Assist with the general day-to-day tasks needed for all social media campaigns.
  • Support other tasks upon request.

III.                Required knowledge and skills:

  • Enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate program. Preferred areas of study include business & administration, public health, communications, journalism, and relevant areas.
  • Previous experience with developing and executing communication campaigns, and working with private sector partners.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing creative social media content and effectively managing social media channels and content schedules
  • Experience with creating and managing social media advertisements (on Facebook, Instagram, Google etc.) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of HIV and LGBTQ+ issues is preferred but not a must. 
  • Fluent in Vietnamese with a professional level of English (reading and writing).
