Local consultant – Study international experiences and capacity building in green financial policy for the Ministry of Finance

Integra, through the Asia Emerging Opportunities (AEO) mechanism, has been asked by USAID/Vietnam to provide support related to Public Finance Management (PFM) for the Vietnam Ministry of Finance (MOF). The purpose of this support is to (i) improve legal institutions for finance to enhance transparency and efficiency of the public financial management process; (ii) improve the operational efficiency of the security market to enhance access to finance in the medium and long-term; (iii) strengthen the mobilization, allocation and use of domestic financial resources more effectively; and (iv) capacity building for staff of the MOF and related agencies.

Under the workplan for 2023, AEO will support MOF to study international experiences and buid the capacity of the Ministry in green finance policy. The support aims to provide the staff of the MOF and International Cooperation Department with: (i) relevant international experience; (ii) home country situational analysis; and (iii) recommendations in green finance policy, so as to assist MOF in actively participating in international and regional dialogues, initiatives, and forums, such as ASEAN, APEC, G20 and V20.
