Interpretation Services

Population Services International (PSI) is the leading social marketing organization with programs in over 60 countries. PSI Vietnam is currently focused on implementing a comprehensive HIV prevention targeting most at-risk populations. With donor funding, PSI works in close collaboration with national and provincial government agencies to measurably improve the health of Vietnamese poor and vulnerable populations through evidence-based social marketing of health products, services and behavior change communications.

PSI Vietnam is seeking companies/individuals who can provide high quality interpretation services for its program and office activities to build up INTERPRETATION RATE CARD. If you are interested in, please send the following required bidding documents in a sealed envelop to PSI Vietnam Office at 4th Floor, Side B, TOSERCO Building, 273 Kim Ma, Ba Dinh, Hanoi or via email address [email protected] on 14 June, 2012 as the latest.

- Quotation for interpretation services (Use PSI quotation FORMAT). Quotation should be properly signed and/or stamped (if you are a company).

- Company profiles/CVs and references reflecting experience with below related fields.

Instruction to Suppliers

1. Scope of work:

Provide a high quality interpretation services (simultaneous/consecutive) from English into Vietnamese and vice verse in seminars, meetings, workshops, etc.,

2. Output and deliverables:
- The supplier must insure the provision of reliable bi-lingual technical and legal texts as well as effective communications in seminars, meetings, workshops etc., which will generate increased accuracy and better understanding of the processes, thereby reducing miscommunication.
- The quality of interpretation will be verified by PSI’s staff who directly involved to the interpretation.
- If the tasks performed by the supplier are not fulfilled to the satisfaction of PSI/Vietnam within the requested time limit and quality PSI/Vietnam reserves the right to recuperate any funds already paid and to withhold any future payments until completion of all tasks to the satisfaction of PSI/Vietnam.

3. Requirement: The supplier assigned will have familiarity and/or experience with translation of documents for public health, HIV, Safe Water, social marketing.
