Homes & Communities (Shelter) Technical Advisor I

Catholic Relief Services (CRS) Viet Nam is looking for the position of Homes & Communities (Shelter) Technical Advisor I with details requirements in the attached JD.

Requirements:

Basic Qualifications

• Master’s degree in built environment discipline (Architecture, Civil Engineer or related sector). Additional experience may substitute for some education.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in the humanitarian sector, with minimum 3 years of experience in shelter and settlement programming.
• Knowledge of technical principles and concepts in Homes & Communities (shelter). General knowledge of other related disciplines to ensure proper cross-sectoral approach.
• Experience in project design and proposal development.
• Knowledge of capacity strengthening best practices.
• Experience with program monitoring and evaluation and analysis.
• Experience and skills in networking and relations with donors, peer organizations, and local partners. Understanding of partnership principles.
• Proficient in MS Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), CAD and graphic design software (Adobe Suite) required.
