Education Project Officer

Australasia Social Impact Foundation (ASIF Foundation) is the International Philanthropy Foundation of Vietnamese People established in Australia in 2018 and operating in Vietnam since 2020. Built on three main pillars: Collaboration with governments and organizations in countries; Venture Assistance for social organizations, and Community Development Programs and Projects, the ASIF Foundation is dedicated to advancing sustainable development in key areas such as good health and well-being, quality education, clean water and sanitation. Through community development programs and social organizations assistance projects, we strive to enhance the quality of life for vulnerable communities and promote lasting improvements. 

We are looking for experienced, qualified, and motivated Vietnamese candidates who are committed to working long-term. 

Main Responsibilities 

• Support partners to prepare proposals for projects of education and social welfare; 

• Being technical point person in terms of the area of education and social welfare; 

• Manage key steps of project management cycles, including planning, implementation, monitoring, and documentation of the projects;   

• Work with relevant stakeholders at different levels both internally and externally to build working relationship;  

• Promote the community/partner ownership through the implementation of project activities with community/partner engagement to ensure project sustainability;   

• Conduct and facilitate training, workshops, etc. in project areas for community and local organizations as planned;   

• Regular report to the PD about progress, effectiveness of the projects as well as difficulties and challenges for timelysupport;   

• Ensure the effectiveness and transparency of the funding transferred to partners for project implementation;  

• Documentation project outcomes for sharing internally and externally for lesson learnt, replication and advocacy purposes;   

• Propose new ideas for project development;  

• Participate in evaluation of result and outcome of the project;  

• Cooperate in R&D for project development in the area of education and social welfare; 

• Other tasks as requested by line manager.

Education & Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (preferably social works, community development, development studies, or a related field);  

• At least 3 years of work experience, preferable in (I)NGO or NPO working context; 

• Have solid knowledge skills of project management;  

• Experience in project implementation, community mobilization and participatory approach, including networking/coordination among different local partners.  

• Experience in capacity building for local stakeholders/partners.  

• Good interpersonal and communications skills in Vietnamese and English  

• Highly self-motivated and able to work autonomously, take initiative and make decisions  

Work location: Ho Chi Minh City–Vietnam
