Consultancy and Certification of UTZ Certified

SNV Vietnam is seeking for expert(s) to support one company specializing in manufacturing, processing and merchandizing cocoa. By networking with farmers in the cocoa plantation area in Vung Tau province, the company already obtained UTZ certification from 2010 to 2014 and is being evaluated for year 2015. Currently, they want to expand sustainable cocoa plantation areas to Ben Tre province complying with UTZ Certified Code of Conduct and Chain of Custody and obtain UTZ Certified certification. Consultant(s) are invited to submit a competitive proposal for this assignment, including:

• Technical proposal to conduct the assignment: understanding of the assignment, team structure and profiles, summary of work approach, and draft work plan should be included, based on the defined methodology; identifying a team of individuals with proven track records on UTZ Certified consultancy and certification. The proposal should indicate clearly the methodology to achieve the deliverables and include a schedule of time allocated to each team member by task, identifying timeline and milestones in preparing and completing deliverables, including overall project management;
• Financial proposal (which proposes separately the consultancy fee and expected fee to hire the independent certification body). At least 10% of the total contract value will be withhold until the company receives UTZ certification; and
• Relevant qualifications and experience, including contact details of at least 03 references.
