FULL SCHOLARSHIP FOR MASTER'S DEGREE PROGRAM
The Asian Peacebuilders Scholarship (APS) for cohort 15; the year 2021-2022 is now accepting applications!!

University for Peace (Costa Rica) and Ateneo de Manila University (Philippines), with support from The Nippon Foundation, have been providing a full-scholarship for the dual master’s degree program - APS - since 2007. The APS aims to train Asian professionals with the overall objective of making a significant contribution to developing the global leadership that is able to deal with the complex challenges to peace-building.
In particular, the programme is designed to strengthen the representation of Asian professionals with expertise in Asian issues such as peace, human rights, and sustainable development. To-date, 375 students have been awarded scholarships to participate in the programme, and many of the graduates now hold notable positions in a wide variety of organizations, including UN agencies, IGOs, (I)NGOs, and government.
The academic study of APS is made up of the intensive English language learning component, Master of Arts at University for Peace, and Master in Transdisciplinary Social Development at Ateneo de Manila University. Students selected to participate in the APS programme receive a full scholarship that covers tuition, airfare, transit and some visa costs for all programme components, and a monthly stipend.
