Senior Program Manager (P4I)

The Embassy of Australia in Hanoi is looking for a talented and energetic individual to fulfil the position of Senior Program Manager (P4I) (LE6). A merit list from this recruitment exercise may be used to fill similar positions over the next 18 months from the date of advertisement.

Working for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT)’s Economic Section, the Senior Program Manager (P4I) works with limited direction from the First Secretary (Economic Section) in leading the embassy’s engagement with P4I – Australia’s flagship initiative to foster inclusive growth through sustainable infrastructure development in Southeast Asian countries – to advance Australia’s strategic and geoeconomics interests in Vietnam’s infrastructure sector by working closely with the regional P4I team in Bangkok and P4I consortium’s in-country office in Vietnam (E&Y and The Asia Foundation)

Applicants should possess strong relationship building skills, proven experience in developing networks in-country and demonstrated previous experience working on (implementing programs or researching) infrastructure issues in Vietnam. Excellent written and verbal communication in both English and Vietnamese languages are essential.

The successful applicant will be offered an Ongoing/Permanent Employment. The Embassy will consider flexible work arrangements. The full-time monthly gross salary ranges from VND 55,736,420 to VND 62,731,831, depending on skills and experience.
