CHEMONICS INTERNATIONAL SEEKS TECHNICAL SPECIALISTS
FOR AN ANTICIPATED USAID-FUNDED PROJECT IN VIETNAM

Chemonics International Inc., a global consulting and international development firm, seeks qualified and highly motivated candidates for long-term positions on the anticipated USAID-funded Local Capacity Development (LCD) activity. This upcoming activity aims support the capacity of and engagement between sub-national government, local organizations, and other local stakeholders, leading to more transparent policymaking, effective implementation processes, and better delivery of services to Vietnamese citizens. We are seeking individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.

Chemonics seeks technical specialists with expertise in the following areas:

  • Provincial capacity assessment and stakeholder coordination
  • Operations and Finance
  • Gender, Equity, and Social Inclusion (GESI) assessment, integration, and programming
  • Monitoring, evaluation, and learning
  • Strategic communications, reporting, and outreach
  • Grants design and management
  • Local governance strengthening
  • Public service delivery
  • Private sector engagement
  • CSO capacity building and institutional strengthening
  • Community mobilization, citizen participation in local governance processes, citizen feedback mechanisms, and political advocacy
  • Constituency and coalition building
  • Public perception research and sentiment analysis

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in economics, business administration, finance, public policy, or a relevant field is required. An advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience required in the designated area of specialization
  • Experience in international development, particularly on large donor-funded projects, preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English required
