Course objectives

By the end of the course, you will:

  • Know various methods for planning and designing results and when to use them
  • Know how to strengthen RBM in an online evironment
  • Know how analyse and manage risks for achieving results
  • Know what is takes an an organisation to improve RBM practices
  • Know how to measure complex change

Course agenda: 23 November – 4 December 2020

Each day, you will spend 2 hours joining a plenary webinar for theory and reflection on assignments and another 2 hours participating in own-paced group work and individual assignments.

  • Day 1: Introduction to the course / RBM (what and why)
  • Day 2: OECD RBM principles / RBM tools / RBM and SGDs
  • Day 3: Planning processes (LFA + ToC)
  • Day 4: Stakeholder analysis for results
  • Day 5: RBM from a distance (using online tools in RBM)
  • Day 6: Risk Management
  • Day 7: Measuring (complex) change
  • Day 8: RBM in organisations
  • Day 9: Optional session (based on participants' feedback)
  • Day 10: Winding-up, last quetions, looking ahead
