Consultant to train on Child Safeguarding policies in 9 Social Protection Centers in HCMC

We are looking for a Vietnamese national for:

Consultant’s responsibilities and main competencies required:

  • Consultant has knowledge of Child safeguarding and Preventing violence and child abuse
  • Consultant has knowledge of “Guidance on the implementation of internal control in preventing violence and child abuse in child care institutions” compiled and approved by DOLISA HCMC and HCMC People’s Committee.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in any major of natural sciences or social sciences.
  • At least 5 years of experience in working in the field of children
  • Good ability in analyzing and assessing child safety
  • Experience in working with ministries, governmental agencies and organizations in the implementation of child's rights.
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience in training provision

Note: Consultant must be compliant with SCI’s Code of Conduct and Child safeguarding policy

EXPECTED OUTPUTS

  • Participants will be provided with all materials related to Child safeguarding and “Guidance on the implementation of internal control in preventing violence and child abuse in child care institutions”
  • Upon completion of the training, participants will improve their knowledge, skills and methods related to Child safeguarding and be able to use the “Guidance on the implementation of internal control in preventing violence and child abuse in child care institutions”
