The Australian Consulate-General in Ho Chi Minh City is seeking a self-motivated and well-organised Vietnamese national qualified candidate for an expected vacancy to fill the position of Economic & Government Affairs Officer/Interpreter.

This position will be offered to the successful candidate on a contractual basis.

Working for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), the Economic and Government Affairs Officer/Interpreter has responsibility facilitating the Australian Consulate- General’s government and economic engagement in Ho Chi Minh City and southern Vietnam. This position also provides high level interpretation for the Head of Post and A-based staff when required.

The successful applicant will be offered an initial contract for a 12-month period, and the Embassy will consider flexible work arrangements. The full-time monthly gross salary ranges from VND 33,369,233 to VND 38,226,533 depending on skills and experience.
