After COP 22 – The Climate Conference in Marrakech: Outcomes, Follow-up and Implications for Vietnam

From 7th to 18th November 2016, the United Nations Convention on Climate Change’s Conference of Parties (COP 22) was organized in Marrakech, Morocco. COP22 is called “the COP of action” which the delegates in Marrakech discussed and agreed on guidelines, procedures, and processes for the implementation of the Paris Agreement in six topic areas, which are, beside adaptation and mitigation also transparency, technology transfer, capacity building and loss and damage. With the support by Friedrich Ebert Stiftung in Vietnam, NGO’s Climate Change Working Group (CCWG) and Oxfam in Vietnam as a chair organization organizes the workshop: After COP22 - The Climate Conference in Marrakech: Outcomes, Follow-up and Implications for Vietnam on 08th Dec 2016 at Fortuna hotel. The main objective is to share the main results of COP 22, its implication to Vietnam; Implementation of Paris Agreement, NDC development and National adaptation plan after COP22 as well as next steps and opportunities towards an inclusive and pro-poor implementation.
