Consultant to Design Benefit Sharing Mechanisms for PFES
Please be informed that WWF-Vietnam is seeking for a qualified candidate for the position Consultant to design Benefit Sharing Mechanisms for PFES in Thua Thien Hue and Quang Nam provinces.
Base location: PFES areas in Thua Thien Hue and Quang Nam provinces
Key requirements:
- MSc or higher in forestry, natural resource management, environmental economics, social geography or other related field.
- A minimum of five-year experience in the field of natural resources management is mandatory.
- Demonstrable experience with the implementation of at least one BSM for a PFES scheme is mandatory.
- Demonstrable experience with interviewing key informants in local communities in at least one field project is mandatory.
- Work experience as government staff on provincial level and/or with a company involved in PFES in a relevant position is an advantage.
- Demonstrable willingness to learn and a commitment to development as a leading conservation researcher in Vietnam is an advantage.
- Must have working proficiency of both Vietnamese and English.
