Vacancy: Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Manager; Based in Hanoi

We are looking for a dynamic Vietnamese national for the position of Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Manager. The successful candidate will be offered a competitive remuneration package and interesting learning and development opportunities. The position will be based in Hanoi with frequent travels to project sites.

Main Responsibilities

This position is responsible to push forward Save the Children’s MEAL system in order to measure projects’ outputs, outcomes and impact and draw lessons learnt to contribute to the development and delivery of high quality programme for children in Vietnam

Key Competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Epidemiology, Mathematics, Science or Information Technology
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in M&E field, particularly experience in research methodologies, fluency in logframes and result frameworks
• Proven experience in programme monitoring, review and evaluation, including setting of indicators and collection, analysis and presentation of data relating to programme work
• Quick learner with ability to think strategically and creatively
• Ability to work with MS Excel; experience in MS Access and SPSS will be advantageous
• Ability to provide technical support/inputs in developing and implementing sound M&E and

Accountability system for children
• Excellent ability to meet tight deadlines accurately and on time
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and one or more of the local languages
• Knowledge about child focused research and studies will be an added advantage
• Required to travel out of office 50% of time
• Commitment to SC values and its Child safeguarding Policy
