We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Vietnamese citizen to fill the following position:

ASSOCIATE COUNTRY DIRECTOR - VIETNAM

The post is an open-ended contract, based in Hanoi but with frequent travel

The Role:    
The Associate Country Director is responsible for ensuring Oxfam in Vietnam continues at the forefront of Oxfam’s Global food security campaign (GROW) that seeks to improve livelihoods for millions of people around the world, through policy advocacy work on land, on small scale farming and on food security.

As well as a key role in advocacy, this exciting post leads a dynamic and professional team working on programs in small-holder agriculture and natural resource management through government and local partnerships. Often with new technologies and approaches that bring the real prospect of lasting change.

Report to: Regional Director, East Asia Regional Office    

Staff reporting to this post: Economic Justice (EJ) Coordinator, EJ Policy/Campaign Officer, MEL Coordinator, Program Officer, Policy Advisor, Project Officer

Skills and Competence

We are seeking an experienced professional with at least 10 years’ experience in senior and relevant posts in Vietnam including proven ability in leadership of complex and dynamic programs and proven experience in sound and effective advocacy amongst all stakeholders with interest in Vietnam’s continued efforts to eliminate poverty.

Gross Annual Salary: VND 884,940,000
