Vietnam Ministry Asks to Boost Disbursement of VND1.3T for 8 ODA Projects

Vietnam’s Ministry of Transport has asked investors and project management boards to accelerate the disbursement of over VND1.3 trillion ($54.16 million) for eight official development assistance (ODA)-funded projects.

They include Tan Van-Nhon Trach road, a road connecting National Highway 91 and Long Xuyen bypass, the Northern Mountain Provinces Transport Connectivity Project, and the Central Highlands Connectivity Improvement Project.

Others are Ben Luc-Long Thanh expressway, the Vietnam road asset management project (VRAMP), Cat Linh-Ha Dong railway, and a canal connecting the Day and Ninh Co rivers in northern Nam Dinh province, a part of the Northern Delta Transport Development Project.

Vietnam disbursed nearly VND3.71 trillion for ODA-funded transport projects in the first eleven months of this year, fulfilling 68.2% of the assigned plan, according to the ministry’s Department of Planning-Investment. (Bao Giao Thong)
