E-Cigarette Use Rate among Vietnamese Adults Grows to 0.7% in 2020: Survey

E-cigarette use rate among Vietnamese adults grew to 0.7% in 2020 from 0.2% in 2015, in which the rate among men increased to 1.2% in 2020 from 0.4% in 2015, local media quoted a 2020 survey about the cigarette use at 34 localities in Vietnam as reporting. At a technical conference on preventing the harm of tobacco on January 19, Associate Professor Luong Ngoc Khue, director of the tobacco control fund, pointed out that local firms had marketed their e-cigarette products with some incorrect information.
