Program Officer

The Centre for International Studies and Cooperation (CECI) is a not-for-profit corporation founded in Quebec, Canada in 1958. CECI has a Country Office in Hanoi, Vietnam since 1991. CECI’s mission is to combat poverty and exclusion by strengthening the development capacity of disadvantaged communities; supporting initiatives for peace, human rights and equity; mobilizing resources and promoting the exchange of know-how.
CECI is looking for an experienced and qualified Vietnamese citizen to fill in the position of Program Officer for the project “Building Community Resilience to Disasters in Upland Areas of Vietnam (BCRD)” funded by the European Commission in Kon Tum Province. The project focuses on: Disaster Risk Management and Climate Change.

Job Description:
- Prepare monthly project action plan
- Work with partners, local authority to carry on project implementation
- Provide consultancy for scientific research in project area
- Organize and facilitate project technical training
- Monitor and evaluate project activities in project area
- Collect, analyze, manage and report project progress to Project Manager to prepare and implement monthly report.
- Support administrative and financial activities.

Requirements:
- University graduation
- At least 2 years of experience working for community-based projects in International Non-Governmental Organizations
- Good communication; experience on facilitation and training activities
- Fluency in speaking and writing English
- Ability to work in group

Priority:
Majoring in agriculture, water source management, forestry and other relevant sectors.
Annual gross salary: 80 to 200 million VND
