Vietnam’s central province of Binh Dinh had 278 projects with a total grant of $17.2 million from non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in 2011-2020, the provincial People’s Committee said on April 7. Those projects have been mainly carried out at remote areas in support for vulnerable groups such as orphans, disadvantaged children, persons with disabilities, and poor women. Some sectors, which have benefited from the projects, were health, education, labor, social affairs, agriculture, rural development, and environment. In the time to come, Binh Dinh strengthens to lure NGOs’ grant and proceed with small projects in remote areas. (Thoi Dai, thoidai.com.vn [1])
