A mission of voluntary medical experts from the Medical Outreach of America (MOA), an international mission trip touching the lives of others through our medical services, provided free health checkups and medicines to Agent Orange (AO)/dioxin victims and exchanged professional expertise with teachers and students in Vietnam’s central Danang City on November 1-2, state media reported. On November 1, the mission exchanged experiences with teachers and students at Danang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy. Eighty English-Vietnamese medical dictionaries from the U.S. State Department were granted to students from the school. The following day, the group offered health checkups and free medicines to over 100 children at Danang City’s Support Center Agent Orange Victims and Disadvantaged Children. Earlier on October 28-31, MOA experts also provided health checkups and free medicines to over 500 people with disabilities in Phu Vang district, central Thua Thien-Hue province. The mission exchanged experiences with students from Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy. Since its establishment in 2009, the U.S. organization has conducted four free healthcare and professional exchange programs in Vietnam. (QDND, en.QDND, baothuathienhue, baothuathienhue)
