UNDP Vietnam seeks proposals from firms/organizations/institutions for Enhancement of a digital database and atlas of rural infrastructure for the Northern Mountainous Region of Viet Nam.
The specific objectives of the assignment are to:
- Extend the geographic coverage of the current MARD database to cover all remaining agriculturally-related rural infrastructure in the 15 northern provinces including Bac Giang, Bac Kan, Cao Bang, Ha Giang, Lang Son, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, Vinh Phuc, Lai Chau, Dien Bien, Son La, Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Phu Tho and Hoa Binh;
- Develop printed thematic atlas maps for 2 provinces which can be used by local government officers in planning, field visits and decision making.
- Strengthen the capacities of related stakeholders in the use and application of these maps through written and verbal instructions.
The selection will be based on a competitive basis and will comply with UNDP procurement regulations.
