Center for Community Health Promotion (CHP), a local NGO, works for lasting improvements in the well-being of people through health promotion and community development approaches with focus on capacity building and empowerment. Our primary targets are the most vulnerable and disadvantaged populations including vulnerable children and women, ethnic and social minority groups, mobile populations and migrant workers, and people living with HIV/AIDS etc.
CHP is looking for an experienced and qualified Vietnamese national to fill the Project Assistant position for a project named “Empowering Local Civil Society to succeed Harm reduction initiatives implemented in Hoa Binh, Tuyen Quang, and Bac Kan Province”.
Position Information:
Position title: Project Assistant
Reporting to: Project Manager
Contract: One year contract with high potential for extension
Work location: Ha Noi with travel to project sites as required
Responsibilities:
Assist Project Manager and Project Officers to manage effectively the project as follows:
1.Arrange all necessary logistics for the project activities project, such as workshops, trainings, field trips, etc.
2.Management a project filling system
3.Liaise and maintain effectively communication among stakeholders
4.Participate in regular monitoring field trip at project sites
5.Provide interpretation/translation support as required
6.Prepare project reports including financial and progress reports
7.Any other duties by supervisors align with vision of organization
Experience and Qualifications:
- At least one year experience on community development, project management.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with disadvantage people
- High team spirit
- High responsibility and pay attention to the detail
- Good planning, monitoring and supervision skills
- Willing to travel
