Health Sector Capacity Support Project is funded by the European Union and managed by the Vietnam Ministry of Health. The Project Management Unit is recruiting two qualified positions of PROJECT COORDINATOR and PROJECT ACCOUNTANT for a fixed contract period until 30 September 2013. These positions will be based in PMU office in Hanoi.
Applicants for these positions must meet the qualifications and skills which are listed below:
1. PROJECT COORDINATOR:
- University Degree in Social Science; Economics or Management;
- At least 10 years of work in donor-funded health projects;
- Experience in project management, preferably at similar positions;
- Familiar with government budgeting and planning regulations and donor project management guidelines;
- Ability to work in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams;
- Ability to take field trips to provinces when required;
- Excellent command of English;
- Good computer skills and experience in MS Software and project management applications
PROJECT ACCOUNTANT:
- University graduate in accounting with a minimum of six years relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience, working experience in donor-funded health projects preferred;
- Solid computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, skills in financial management software preferred;
- Good communication skills;
- Proven interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team;
- Excellent command of English;
- Familiarity with Vietnamese Government financial rules and regulations;
- Good understanding of financial regulations of donor to health projects and programs;
- Experience working with international development agencies.
