Project and Administration Officer
Department of Education, Skills and Employment (DESE)
The Department of Education, Skills and Employment (DESE) within the Embassy of Australia in Hanoi is looking for a talented and energetic individual to fulfil the position of Project and Administration Officer (LE3).
The Department of Education, Skills and Employment (DESE) section is responsible for strengthening government to government engagement with counterparts in education, training, and research to support education reform and policy development in Vietnam whilst showcasing the Australian education and training system and positioning Australia as a partner for education policy dialogue and advice. DESE also works with Australian and Vietnamese institutions to facilitate diversified institutional partnerships, including transnational education, research collaboration, and staff and student mobility.
Applicant should have at least two (2) years work experience, preferably in an international working environment and/or a relevant education sector, must demonstrate strong financial and administration skills, must possess sound research and analytical skills and can work independently and under pressure. Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English and Vietnamese languages is essential to the position.
The successful applicant will be offered an initial contract for a 7-month from October 2021 to May 2022. The Embassy will consider flexible work arrangements. The full-time monthly gross salary ranges from VND 27,738,260 to VND 31,219,656, depending on skills and experience.
