The Macroeconomic Reform/Green Growth Programme supports the implementation of Vietnam National Green Growth Strategy (NGGS) and provides consultation on selected topics in the NGGS to its partners, which are Ministry of Planning and Investment, Central Institute for Economic Management, Ministry of Finance, State Bank of Vietnam and State Securities Commission.
The “Green Financial Sector Reform” Component of the Programme, in cooperation with the State Bank of Vietnam and State Securities Commission is pursuing the goal of reforming the country’s financial system (including the banking sector and the capital market) towards environmentally and socially sustainable development to support the implementation of national strategies in green growth, climate change response and sustainable development in Vietnam.
The Program Component is looking for a national candidate to fill the following position:
Programme Assistant “Macro C5_GGP”
Duty station: Ha Noi, Viet Nam
Duration: ASAP to 31/12/2022
Main responsibilities:
- Supporting the implementation of project activities including arranging logistics for in-person/virtual events;
- Update news and the Component’s activities on the Programme’s website; perform press clipping on events of the Component and the topics related to the Component and archive these documents in line with GIZ filing structure and the requirements of the Component;
- Update contact database of the Component;
- Provide office reception, deliver urgent/ confidential mails and documents; order newspapers/magazines for easy reference;
- Clean the office and office equipment, ensure the office equipment and machines to work properly;
- Ensure the availability of necessary supplies in the office;
- Report damages of office premises and equipment, liaise with Administration Department of the State Bank of Viet Nam to ensure the functioning of the office in the SBV building.
Minimum requirements:
- University degree or equivalent;
- At least 1-2 years working experiences in a similar position;
- Be able to understand English for the requirements of the position (B level);
- Be good at computer skills including MS Office;
- Having good understanding and working relationship with partners (State Bank of Vietnam) is an advantage.
