Institute for Studies of Society, Economy and Enviroment (iSEE) is an independent Vietnamese non-profit research and development institution working for a prosperous, democratic and just society. They are looking for a Program Manager and a Program Assistant to join our diverse and compassionate team with different technical background, ethnicity, gender, culture and sexual orientation to effectively cope with different issues;
1. Key Responsibility of Program Manager:
- Manage their development programs on research, policy advocacy, public education and empowerment for ethnic minorities and sexual minorities
- Supervise the program budget, planning, implementation, M&E, reporting and quality control
- Manage and support program staff in carrying out their work effectively
Requirements:
- Postgraduate degree preferably in MBA, social science, economics, public policy or public health;
- At least five year experiences in development work with focus on program management and coordination
- Knowledgeable of minority issues is preferable (ethnic minorities, sexual minority, gender equity, social exclusion, poverty, HIV/AIDS)
- Fluent in English
- Personal commitment to iSEE diversity principles, the rights based approach and empowerment
Monthly Gross Salary Range: VND 40.000.000 – VND 60.000.000 depends on skills and experience
2. Key Responsibility of Program Assistant:
- Assist Program Manager and other program staff to prepare meetings, workshops, field trips and other program related events
- Participate in team discussion, take notes, manage files and folders and follow-up with team plans
Requirements:
- BA in social science, economics, public policy or public health
- Knowledgeable of minority issues (ethnic minorities, sexual minority, gender equity, social exclusion, poverty, HIV/AIDS) is an advantage
- Fluent in English is an advantage
- Personal commitment to iSEE diversity principles, the rights based approach and empowerment
Monthly Gross Salary Range VND 4.000.000 – VND 7.000.000
3. Key reponsibility of the Volunteer (from January to May 2011):
- Assist accountant in preparation of accounting documents, receipts and banking transaction
- Perform reception duty (telephone, emails, guests)
- Perform office administration work (bills, stationary, etc.)
Requirement:
- University degree is preferable
- Willing to learn and contribute to team work
- Personal commitment to iSEE diversity principles, the rights based approach and empowerment
Monthly allowance: VND 1,500,000
