Winrock International, an international not for profit organization, is seeking applications for the position of Executive Assistant & Translator for a multi-year USAID-funded Program named Vietnam Forests and Deltas which aims to strengthen the foundations for, and community-based practice of, climate change mitigation and adaptation in the forest and delta landscapes in Vietnam.
Responsibilities:
- Organizes day to day schedules and appointments of the Chief of Party (COP) and Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP)
- Provide support to senior managers relative to scheduling and preparation of meetings, logistical arrangements, and communications.
- Act as principal oral translator for the Chief of Party during meetings and for presentations and other communications fora.
- Prepare official translations of program documents and other communications materials.
- Assist with the coordination of logistical preparations for workshops, program steering committee meetings in Hanoi, and elsewhere in Vietnam.
- Coordinate all travel related preparation and arrangements of the senior managers.
Qualifications:
- College graduate with a minimum of 5 years of translating experience.
- Experience in program administration.
- Flexible, takes instructions well, and demonstrates initiative towards work
- A good team player and can also work independently
- Can work well under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
