The Project “Support to the implementation of the Resolution 80/NQ-CP on directions of sustainable poverty reduction (2011-2020) and the National Targeted Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction (2012-2016)" (PRPP). The Project is supported by UNDP with cost-sharing from Irish Aid is to provide technical assistance for Ministry of Labor-Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) and other related agencies at central and local level.
PRPP project, in collaboration with Poverty Reduction Coordination Office (PRCO), Ministry of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs, pilots a new creative practice to mobilize the involvement of central/local organizations, agencies, etc. working in poverty reduction area, communities, enterprises, NGOs, associations (socialized sustainable poverty reduction) in strengthening, replicating community-owned economic development models (particularly women in EM area and extremely disadvantaged areas) through a contest ‘Initiatives to promote sustainable poverty reduction through community-owned economic development’. Based on the organized contest, PRPP project will provide lessons learned and consolidate policy recommendations/effective practices in the implementation of production development component, which promote community’s potential and role in rapid and sustainable poverty reduction in NTP-SPR 2016-2020.
Within PRPP project’s 2016 annual work plan approved by UNDP and MOLISA, PRPP project plans for recruiting a team of 02 national consultants to support PRCO in developing an implementation plan, implementing, monitoring and evaluating the organization of the contest ‘Initiatives to promote sustainable poverty reduction through community-owned economic development’.
