Consultant for final project evaluation and KAP end-line survey
The Fred Hollows Foundation (FHF) has been partnering in eye health in Vietnam since 1992. Recently, when reviewing The Foundation strategy on gender and relating it to the reality in Viet Nam, it was evident that women have significantly more blindness than men (approximately 229,551 women versus 99,782 men). The Foundation encourages greater efforts to be made to ensure equitable access to eye care programmes for women and girls, especially those living with high vulnerability. The Foundation specifically targets women in order to help them overcome the unique or greater barriers that prevent them from accessing eye health services and treatment to the same degree as men. Since that, the Improving Vision to Empower Female Factory Workers project has been developed and piloted in two factories in Da Nang city, Quang Ngai and Quang Nam provinces.
This is the third and final year of the Improving Vision to Empower Female Factory Workers project and it plans to conduct a combined work (named the combined evaluation) of the final project evaluation and the KAP end-line project survey.
The Foundation is seeking expressions of interest from individuals, consulting companies interested in undertaking the combined evaluation for this project . The timeline, work details and selection criteria are as in the attached Terms of Reference (ToR) [1].
