ActionAid started working in Vietnam since 1989, established its Representative Office in Hanoi in 1992. Since then, ActionAid Vietnam (AAV) has been focusing the work to end poverty and promote sustainable development in over 20 provinces in mountainous, remote, and difficult regions as well as poor urban areas across Vietnam. The organization is well recognized as one of the leading INGOs significantly contributed to the poverty reduction and community empowerment in Vietnam.
AAV is implementing the project “Energy transition and climate change mitigation in Mekong Delta” in Dong Hai, Bac Lieu. The project objectives include: (i) Economic benefits will be created by the application of energy-sufficient measures and renewable energy solutions, (ii) Greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions created by aquaculture activities in 4 project communes will be reduced and (iii) Favorable conditions for reducing emissions are created by Bac Lieu Province.
The project is looking for Consultant to deliver a training course for household and businesses to calculate the effectiveness of renewable energy model with details in TOR [1] attached.
