Organization: Plan International is an international humanitarian, child centered community development organization, without religious, political or governmental affiliation. Child sponsorship is the basic foundation of the organization. Plan International’s vision is of a world in which all children realize their full potential in societies that respect people’s rights and dignity.
A 5 year project titled “We strive for a just world that advances children rights and equality for girls in Lai Chau and Kontum” has implemented by Plan International Vietnam with Vietnamese Women Union as implementation partner from 2017-2021.
Through the program funded by Belgium government, Plan International Vietnam will empower parenting groups that promote quality care infants and children and promte male engagement in ECD and provide comperehensive and multi – disciplinary supports for parents/caregivers who need to take care for their children.
The parenting group will be developed as a platform for relevant activities aiming at well- being and development of children under 10. This platform will connect with, integrate into and mobilize resources from other systems and networks such as health and nutrition system, family and community network, preschool groups and other relevant CSO and government’s programs to promote the multi-stakeholder approach.
We are looking for experienced, qualified and motivated Vietnamese consultant to develop the gender responsive parenting platform guideline focusing on ECD for children under 10. Please find attached TOR [1] for more details.
