Established in Vietnam in January 2009, Live&Learn’s mission is to reduce poverty and foster greater understanding and action towards a sustainable future through education, community mobilization and supportive partnerships. Live&Learn is also a member of Live&Learn Environmental Education (www.livelearn.org [1]), with rich working experience in sustainable community development and education in the Asia-Pacific.
Essential requirements
- Working experience with youths or in NGOs is an advantage
- Good spoken and written English and Vietnamese
- Good computer applications and social networking skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Facebook...)
- Good interpersonal skills, the ability to work in a team and to work independently
- A keen interest in climate change and disaster risk reduction
- Enthusiasm in for interactive training delivery and materials development
- Willingness to learn and share with a range of stakeholders, and work in the community
- Knowledge about graphics, design is an advantage
Experience in education and training not essential, but is desirable. We seek an individual who has a strong willingness and ability to learn, ability to think outside the box and to identify potential education opportunities.
