1. Bookkeeper/ Finance Officer (3 positions) working for the Area Development Programs (ADP) in Yen Thuy district, Hoa Binh province, in Dien Bien Dong district and Muong Cha district, Dien Bien province. Deadline for application: 21 October 2009
Area Development Program (ADP) is an approach to child focused development, emphasizing the process of community participation, sustainability, and integrating activities in the areas of food security, agriculture, micro-enterprise, health, nutrition, education, water, and sanitation.
Main Responsibilities: The position assists the ADP Manager in maintaining the books of accounts and other financial records of the project & adhering to the financial standards of World Vision financial system to ensure accountability.
Requirements:
- University or College degree in any field (preferably in accounting and finance).
- Good knowledge of and 1 year work experience in accounting.
- Ability to use Excel spreadsheet.
- Basic English skills with good reading skills.
2. PROJECT ASSISTANT – Health (1 position) working for the ADP in Tran Yen district, Yen Bai province. Deadline for application: 21 October 2009.
Main Responsibilities: This position supports WV Vietnam to improve the health status of poor children living in Tran Yen district, Yen Bai province and assists the Tran Yen ADP Manager in designing and developing project plans, monitoring the implementation of project activities to achieve stipulated objectives.
Requirements:
- University graduate in public health or medicine or sitology.
- Have working experience on development field, especially in public health or primary health care community development. Experience of working in community-based health development is preferred.
- Experience in program implementation and participatory approach.
- Understanding of monitoring and evaluation
- Good written English skills, particularly report writing skills.
- Well-developed written and oral communications skills in Vietnamese.
3. PROJECT ASSISTANT – Livelihood Development (1 position) working for the ADP in Tran Yen district, Yen Bai province. Deadline for application: 21 October 2009.
Main Responsibilities:
This position assists the Tran Yen ADP Manager in designing and developing project plans, monitoring the implementation of Livelihood project’s activities to achieve stipulated objectives.
Requirements:
- University graduate in agriculture economic, agriculture, forestry, economics, or related fields
- Have at least 2 years work experience in livelihood development. Experience of working in community development is preferred.
- Experience in rural economic development or income generation activities
- Good written English skills, particularly report writing skills.
- Well-developed written and oral communications skills in Vietnamese
- Experience in program implementation and participatory approach.
- Understanding of monitoring and evaluation
Common requirements:
- Good computer skills (word processing, excel).
- Work at district level.
