Part-Time Minority Programme Manager

Voluntary Service Overseas is an international development federation that manages development programmes utilising skilled and experienced specialists, who volunteer their time to work overseas. VSO specialists work with and for local organisations earning a modest living allowance, sharing their talents and expertise to support and help to build the capacity of VSO's partner organisations. They work from community to national level, in rural and urban settings.

They are currently looking for a short-term part-time Minority Programme Manager, who is a Vietnamese national to join our team in Hanoi for 7 months from September 2009 to end of March 2010. As a Minority Programme Manager, you will set up and contribute to the development of VSO's country minority programme. You must be a team player and have strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to work with a range of people from grass-roots to government officials.

Other essential requirements include:
- Relevant tertiary level qualification with at least 5 years work experience
- Strategic planning and programme development experience
- Programme/project management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Travel required
