Administration Officer (AO)

Location: Based in Hanoi.
Contract duration: 06 months with possibility of extending to permanent contract based on actual performance & MAG operation’s result.
Reporting to: HR & Administration Manager (HRAM).

MAG (Mines Advisory Group) is a neutral and impartial humanitarian organization clearing the remnants of conflict for the benefit of communities worldwide. MAG is co-laureate of the 1997 Nobel Peace Prize, awarded for its work with the International Campaign to Ban Landmines (ICBL), which culminated in the 1997 Mine Ban Treaty - the international agreement that bans antipersonnel land mines, sometimes referred to as the Ottawa Convention.

MAG moves into current and former conflict zones to clear the remnants of those conflicts, enabling recovery and assisting the development of affected populations. MAG consults with local communities and works to lessen the threat of death and injury, while releasing reclaimed and safe land and other vital resources back to the local population, helping countries to rebuild and develop their social and economic potential.

MAG has worked in around 35 countries since 1989 and currently has operations in Angola, Burundi, Cambodia, Chad, Cyprus, Democratic Republic of Congo, Iraq, Lao P.D.R., Lebanon, Republic of Congo, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Sudan and Vietnam.

Currently MAG, an UXO clearance NGO, is seeking qualified, highly motivated Vietnamese candidates for 01 position as above to implement of MAG Vietnam’s policies & procedures.

Specific responsibilities (Details job description will be provided during interview):
- The AO is responsible to assist HRAM in providing good administration services as following:
- MAG programme/Hanoi representative office’s operations.
- Procurements: For all local & international.
- Asset & inventory management.
- Expatriate staffs & visitors’ support.
- Other administration supports: As assigned by direct supervisor.

- Vietnamese with minimum university education.
- At least 02 year experience in the same or similar position.
- Good communication, listening, presentation in English and Vietnamese.
- Good computer skills and familiar with common softwares (word, excel, outlook, power point, …).
- Friendly & enthusiasm/eager to lean/turn new ideas/initiatives into actions
- Willingness to travel to the provinces as job required.
