Office space for rent in Block B17, Kim Lien Diplomatic Compound, Dong Da district, Ha Noi:

Available from November 2012, at a reasonable cost. A virtual/physical office is available to share with other NGOs in Suites 117 – 120, Block B17, Kim Lien Diplomatic Compound, Luong Dinh Cua Street, Dong Da District, Hanoi. Welcome to the VUFO-NGO Resource Centre Newsletter for 15 - 31 October 2012.

The new Country Director for HFH Vietnam is Ms. Kelly Koch, who has several years’ experience in leadership positions with HFHI in Europe/Central Asia, as well as in the Asia-Pacific. Ms. Kelly is based in the HFH Ho Chi Minh City office effective October 01, 2012.

There are two Working Groups' meetings scheduled for the second half of October 2012:

Disaster Management Working Group on 19 October at 2:00 PM;
Child Rights Working Group on 25 October at 2:00 PM

Both meetings will take place at the VUFO-NGO Resource Centre in Hanoi. Please check the 'Calendar of Events' section on our home page for the latest updates and possible changes.

There are three Working Groups' meetings scheduled for the second half of September 2012:

  • Child Rights Working Group (workshop on Child Rights Convention Report) on 18-19 September;
  • Information Communication and Technology Working Group (first meeting) on 19 September at 2:00 PM;
  • Disaster Management Working Group on 21 September at 10:00 AM.

The CRWG workshop is being held at The Youth Guest House (15B Ho Xuan Huong, Hanoi). The two other meetings will take place at the VUFO-NGO Resource Centre in Hanoi. Please check the 'Calendar of Events' section on our home page for the latest updates and possible changes.

Welcome to the VUFO-NGO Resource Centre Newsletter for 01 - 15 September 2012.

The level of INGO activity in central Vietnam has grown recently, and the VUFO-NGO Resource Centre has established a mailing list to allow organisations in central Vietnam, and those interested in the region, to exchange views and ideas. The mailing list will encourage collaboration between NGOs and allow members to disseminate news on training opportunities and social networking.

The mailing list is called ngo-centralvn, and we encourage interested organisations and individuals to subscribe to the new list by going to ngocentre.org.vn/mailman/listinfo/ngo-centralvn.

  • Disability Working Group - core group meeting on 19 July at 2:00 PM;
  • Disaster Management Working Group on 20 July at 2:00 PM
  • Ethnic Minorities Working Group: workshop on cultural diversity and culture conservation on 24 July at 8:00 AM
