Orbis Launches New Brand Identity

After more than 30 years in the field of global eye health, Orbis is introducing a new brand identity to better showcase the impact that we bring to institutions, communities and individuals around the world. With our new forward-looking and aspirational positioning, we'll showcase the hope, passion and commitment of our globalactivities.

A brand is more than a logo. It is the voice we use to tell our story. It is the experience people have with our organization. We transform lives every day through the prevention and treatment of blindness, and through our new brand we aim to highlight the vibrancy of change that we create in the world.

Our colors are changing--and so is our logo--but our commitment to preventing and treating avoidable blindness worldwide remains the same. We have a new look on the outside, but in our heart we will always be the same Orbis you know.

To develop our new identity, Orbis drew upon our rich history and cultivated the many strong attributes for which the organization is known. New brand elements released include a new logo, new tagline and new visual framework. The new brand identity is prominently featured on Orbis’s Flying Eye Hospital—the world’s only airborne ophthalmic training facility—through a newly painted livery.
