Welcome to the VUFO-NGO Resource Centre Newsletter for 15 – 31 Jul 2021.

Please be advised that Ms. Pham Kim Ngoc has joined Orbis on July 1, 2021 as Country Director. 

Ngoc joins Orbis from Helen Keller International (HKI) where, for the last ten years, she has served as their Chief Representative and Country Director. She has substantial experience working with government, local partners and donors and has displayed a deep interest in working with women, children and disadvantaged communities.

In her role, Ngoc will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of the Orbis presence in Vietnam in compliance with the applicable laws and regulations of Vietnam.

It is informed by Oxfam that Ms. Vu Thi Quynh Hoa, current Oxfam head of programme and campaigns, has been appointed Oxfam in Vietnam new Country Director. Her email for contact is [email protected]

There is one meeting scheduled for the second half of July:

  • Health in Emergency subgroup – Disaster Management Working Group ONLINE meeting, on Tuesday, July 20 at 14:00.
