Welcome to the VUFO-NGO Resource Centre Newsletter for 1 - 15 September, 2018.

VVOB Vietnam would like to announce that Mr. Wouter Boesman has taken up the position of Country Program Manager in VVOB Vietnam since June 1. Before working for VVOB, he worked as Policy Director at  PLATFORMA – Local & Regional, International Action (Brussels-based pan European network). It is also informed by FHI 360 that from August 5, 2018, Dr. Michael Cassell will be the new Country Representative for FHI 360 Vietnam. Dr. Cassell works as senior technical advisor for the USAID-and PEPFAR-supported LINKAGES Program, covering the Asia Region. He worked extensively in the region before, mainly in HIV and tuberculosis prevention in Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and on top of that in Botswana and the United States. Over the course of his extensive career so far, Dr. Cassell worked (among others) with USAID, the U.S. Government, as co-chair of the Office of the U.S. Global AIDS Coordinator's HIV prevention steering committee, as a consultant for UNICEF, and for the HIV Prevention Trials Network funded by the U.S. National Institutes of Health.

There is one meeting scheduled for the first half of September 2018:

•    Water Supply, Sanitation and Hygiene Working Group meeting, on Tuesday, September 4 at 14:00.

The meeting will take place at the NGO Resource Centre Office: Room 201, E3 Building, Trung Tu Diplomatic Compound, 6 Dang Van Ngu, Dong Da Dist, Hanoi.
