Call for Proposals for Supporting Civil Society in Vietnam

The Delegation of the European Union to Vietnam has recently launched a new local Call for Proposals for supporting civil society in Vietnam. This Call for Proposal is presented into two different lots:

• Lot 1 - Non-State Actors (NSA) in development: The specific objectives of Lot 1 are (i) To support the coalition and networking of Vietnamese NSA for better development outcomes in the health and poverty sectors and (ii) To promote civil society initiatives that aim at increased transparency and accountability in health sector, poverty reduction and public finance management.
• Lot 2 – Democracy and Human Rights: The specific objectives of Lot 2 are (i) To encourage, increase and promote democratic citizens' participation at local level -in particular of marginalised groups and (ii) To promote the full enjoyment of human rights of members of ethnic minorities' groups

The deadline for submission of the concept notes is 28th February 2014.
