Save the Children started our work in Vietnam in 1990, and implements programs in the key thematic areas: Education, Health and Nutrition, Child Protection, Child Rights and Governance, Child Poverty, Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and Emergency Response. At present, Vietnam Country Office has programs in 20 out of 63 provinces in Vietnam.

We are looking for a Vietnamese national for:

Scope of work and specific tasks

  • The consultant team should consist of 2-3 members.
  • Fully equipped equipment, such as cameras/camcorders, voice recorders, lightning equipment.
  • Follow Save the Children’s script/guidelines, but the consultants should contribute ideas and suggestions to improve the quality of the video
  • Do a montage and edit the videos to meet the requirements of Save the Children’s branding; Be able to edit the video until all requirements are met
  • Provide translation and subtitles/captions (if needed) for the video with the assistance of SC staff
  • Add visual effects for the attractiveness of the video
  • Follow the filming schedule in Lao Cai
  • Submit the video and photos on time and meet the requirements
  • Be a good listener and a professional team
  • Follow Save the Children’s branding and Child Safeguarding Policy

Qualifications:

  • Background and knowledge in media and communication
  • Knowledge and strong experience in movie making
  • Ability to follow the schedule
  • Fluent in English and Vietnamese

Application Package:

  • Financial proposal includes costs for personnel (team members), equipment and other required costs. Please note that Accomodation and travel cost will be covered by Save the Children.
  • Updated creative portfolio including relevant creative development work and qualifications with at least 01 example of past documentary (videos featuring children, etc.) or creative ads productions designed and produced by the consultant team.
