Consultant’s responsibilities:

As part of the “Bridging the Gap” activity, interacting with EM children and hearing/seeing about their childhood, lifestyle and their goals for future is essential. We let the children film and take photos of their living environment, their school life and daily activities. This is one of the initial steps leading to engaging the youth and other stakeholders to help raise awareness. We have collected photos/ short videos and testimonies from 9 students in Lao Cai.

We would like to hire a consultant to edit all the materials collected from 9 students into a creative video highlighting this Child-led activity and help engaging public in awareness of issues facing EM children in Vietnam.

Expected deliverables

A completed 3-5 minute video in Vietnamese with English subtitle that strictly follows SCI’s branding guideline. The completed product needs to both convey the messages and spirit of the “Bridging the Gap” activity, and also be creative, compelling and eye-catching to suit a wide range of audience.

The video should be Full HD widescreen (1080p, 30fps, stereo) in MP4 format.

Requirements

  • Background and knowledge in media and communication
  • Knowledge and strong experience in creative movie making
  • Ability to follow the schedule
  • Fluent in English and Vietnamese is preferred

  • Financial proposal: Including a detailed quotation for the post-production of the creative video, showing all necessary costs.
  • Updated creative portfolio including relevant creative development work and qualifications with at least 3 past performance references
